If you are interested in becoming an electrician, you can apply to our New York state approved Apprenticeship Program. A minimum age of 18 is required; men and women are encouraged to participate. This opportunity is to earn while you learn on the job working under the supervision of a journeyman. Each apprentice is required to attend a minimum of 160 hours of classroom training per year, for five years, while working full-time.

Rondout Electric accepts applications for the Apprenticeship Program through a Periodic Recruitment Program. Open Enrollment Period is August 21, 2017 thru September 1, 2017.
